For pet groomers
Full Groom (Small) £45 · Medium £55 · Large £65. Customer picks their pet, the right price + duration shows up automatically.
Nail trim, teeth brushing, de-shed treatment, customer picks the extras at booking; you see the full job before they arrive.
Customer accounts remember their pet's details, breed, last groom date, special requests. Their second booking is one tap.
The bit nobody enjoys
Every groomer knows the problem with putting prices online. A full groom is ninety minutes and thirty-five pounds for a well-kept cockapoo, and it is three hours and a great deal more for a matted golden retriever who has not been near a brush since spring. The same three words on a price list, nowhere near the same job.
So most groomers do not publish prices at all, or publish one number and spend every intake conversation explaining why it does not apply. Meanwhile the booking happens over Facebook Messenger between dogs, at eight in the evening, with the diary in another room.
The way through is to make size and coat part of the booking rather than a conversation afterwards. Set up your services the way you actually charge, small, medium, large or by breed group, each with its own real duration and price. Someone booking a large double-coated dog takes a large double-coated slot in the diary, because that is the slot they chose.
Where a price genuinely cannot be known in advance, show it as "from", take a deposit against that, and settle the rest once the dog is on the table.

The questions you always ask
There is a set of questions every groomer asks, and asking them at drop-off is too late. Breed and age. When was the last groom. Is the coat matted. Is the dog nervous, or bad with the dryer, or does he need to be muzzled. Any skin conditions. Vaccinations up to date. Who to call if something happens.
The booking form asks whatever you want it to ask, and the answers arrive with the appointment rather than in a separate message thread you have to go and find. A nervous dog booked for a quiet Tuesday morning is a different day from a nervous dog discovered at nine on a Saturday.
Those notes stay against the client, so the second time that dog comes in you already know he does not like the dryer and that his owner prefers a shorter body. That is the part groomers usually keep in their head or in a notebook, and heads and notebooks do not scale.

See it working
The demo salon runs on the same system a groomer gets: services with real durations, a deposit, the questions you choose, a confirmation text.
The expensive problem
Grooming has fewer, longer appointments than most trades, which makes a no-show unusually painful. Lose a three-hour slot and you have lost a serious part of the day's takings, and nobody is walking in with a matted labradoodle at short notice to fill it.
You can take a deposit at booking, as a percentage or a fixed amount, set per service so a nail trim is not treated like a full groom. You can write your own cancellation policy in your own words: the notice you want, what a late cancellation costs, what a no-show costs.
If someone cancels inside the window or simply does not arrive, the fee is charged automatically to the card they booked with. Solovi takes none of it. It reaches your account minus the standard card fee, because our money comes from the subscription and nothing else.
Reminders go out the day before, which for grooming is worth as much as the deposit. A lot of missed appointments are genuinely forgotten rather than abandoned.

Being found
Nobody hands over their dog to a stranger on price. They search "dog groomer near me", they read the reviews carefully, and then they look at the photos to see whether the dogs look calm and whether the cuts look like the cut they want. It is a trust decision, and it is made mostly on the pictures.
Which is why a listing in a booking app is a weak place to make your case. Your before-and-after photos are the strongest thing you own, and they deserve a page of their own rather than a thumbnail in somebody else's directory.
We set up your Google Business Profile properly, with the categories, hours, services and photos filled in and pointing at your own site, and we build the site so the second search, the one where somebody has your name from a friend, lands on you rather than on a platform with three other groomers underneath.
Local search takes months rather than weeks and anyone promising faster is selling something. What changes on day one is that there is something of yours to find.

Your Google Business Profile, filled in and pointing at your own site, so the second search, the one with your name in it, lands somewhere that is yours.
Not just a diary
Grooming is a trust purchase, and trust is researched. Before anyone books they have searched your name, read the reviews, looked at the photos and formed a view. A booking page is no use if that search turns up nothing of yours.
So the monthly fee is not renting a booking form. It covers the whole of your digital presence, and the parts nobody thinks to ask about are the ones that do the work:
A site search engines can actually read.
Your pages are built on the server, so a crawler is handed the finished text rather than an empty shell it has to run JavaScript to understand. Your services, prices, hours and address are in the page itself.
Structured data, which is the version machines read.
The site publishes your business details in the standard format Google and others expect: what you are, where you are, when you are open. It is the difference between a page that mentions your hours and a page that states them in a way software can use.
Your Google Business Profile, set up properly.
Categories, service area, hours, photos and services, all filled in and pointed at your own site. This is free and it is the single biggest lever in local search, and most businesses have it half done.
Local SEO, and backlinks each month on Local and above.
Along with a report so you can see what changed rather than taking our word for it.
A listing in the Solovi UK directory,
featured above the businesses that are not customers, on every page that matches what you do and where you are.
And the newer one, which almost nobody is set up for. People increasingly ask an assistant instead of scrolling a results page. Those systems answer from pages they can read and cite: your own site, your Google profile, articles that mention you. A profile inside a booking app is not really a page in that sense, it is a record in somebody's database. Being readable is not something you can buy your way into later, and it is why a site of your own has quietly become more valuable than it was two years ago.
We cannot promise you a place in anybody's answers, and treat anyone who does with suspicion. What we can do is make sure there is something of yours worth reading, in a form that can be read.

Yes. The booking form asks whatever you want it to ask, and the answers arrive attached to the appointment rather than in a separate message thread. Those notes stay against the client, so the next time that dog comes in you already know he is bad with the dryer.
Take a deposit, set per service so a nail trim is not treated like a full groom, and set your own cancellation window and fees. Both are charged automatically to the card used at booking and go to you, minus the standard card fee. Reminders the day before help as much as anything, because a lot of missed appointments are simply forgotten.
Yes, with one honest caveat: Solovi does not calculate travel time between appointments or restrict bookings by postcode. You can build travel into your service durations and set your working hours to match your rounds, which most mobile groomers handle fine, but if you need proper route planning you will want something built for that.
A flat monthly fee: £19 for Solo, £39 for Local, £79 for Bespoke, with 0% commission on everything your clients pay. Sign up before 31 December 2026 and Local locks at £29 and Bespoke at £49 for as long as you stay.
Not on day one, and be wary of anyone who says it will. Local search takes months. We set your Google Business Profile up properly, build a real site on your own domain with your work and prices on it, and make sure the two point at each other. The ranking follows that groundwork rather than the other way round.
