What if I already have a website?

No problem. We can rebuild it from scratch or work with what you have. Either way, you'll end up with a site that actually brings in bookings.
How does the booking system work?

Clients visit your site, pick a service, choose a time, and book. They can pay a deposit upfront. You and the client both get confirmation emails and SMS reminders before the appointment.
Can I cancel the monthly plan?

Yes, you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. No long contracts, no penalties. We want you to stay because we're brilliant, not because you're locked in.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Any UK service business, sole traders, Ltd companies, and single-location businesses, with a calendar per staff member. That covers beauty therapists, hair salons, barbers, nail salons, personal trainers, photographers, plumbers, tutors, cleaners, dog groomers, clinics, gyms, studios, consultancies. Per-staff scheduling (each staff member's own calendar) and multi-location chains aren't supported yet, those are on the roadmap.
What does "local SEO" actually mean?

It means when someone near you searches Google for your type of service, your business appears in the results. We optimise your Google Business Profile, add you to local directories, and write content that targets your area.
Who owns the domain and the website?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, not ours, and your site content, customer list and booking history are yours to export at any time. If you ever leave, you take the domain with you and point it wherever you like. What stays with Solovi is the platform itself, the booking system and the templates, which is the normal arrangement for any hosted service.
What happens with no-shows and late cancellations?

You can take a deposit at booking, as a percentage or a fixed amount and set per service, and write a cancellation policy in your own words: how much notice you want and what a late cancellation or a no-show costs. If someone cancels inside the window or does not turn up, the fee is charged automatically to the card they booked with. Solovi takes none of it; it reaches your account minus only Stripe’s standard card fee. All of this is optional and off until you switch it on.
Can Solovi answer the phone and book appointments for me?

Yes, on the Bespoke tier as an add-on. An AI receptionist answers your number, checks your real availability and books the appointment into the same calendar as your website, so a call you would have missed while working becomes a booking. The customer gets a confirmation by text and by email. It is £49 a month for up to 200 minutes of calls, with no overage charges, and it uses your own working hours and services rather than a script. What happens if Solovi stops trading?

A fair question to ask any small supplier, so it is in our terms rather than left to goodwill. You would get at least 90 days' written notice, a full export of your customers, bookings and content for the whole of that period, and your site content in a form you can host elsewhere. Your domain is already registered in your name, so your address does not change; you would simply point it at whatever you use next.
